Sourced from a luxury family-ran Portuguese factory, we instantly fell in love with this gorgeous soft champagne crochet fabric. It was deadstock fabric from another brand and I had to save it from going to waste. We purchased the rest of the fabric, which is only around 50 metres, and decided to make something beautiful with it.
When the fabric arrived into the studio I got my scissors and sewing machine out and started designing and creating the initial samples. Our favourites were instant, the sarong and beach dress were must-haves for the limited-edition collection. These simple shapes really let the intricate scalloped fabric do all of the talking.
Now, our London factory is ready to make these pieces on a made-to-order basis. Please be sure to get your orders in early because once this fabric is gone, it’s gone for good!
What is Deadstock Fabric?
Deadstock fabrics are the “leftovers” of the fashion industry.
These are fabrics that ended up either not going to the intended buyer at all or not being made into finished garments. Historically, most of these deadstock fabrics would be simply thrown away, eventually making their way into landfills.

We started sampling with the scalloped fabric and always visualised it as a sophisticated yet sexy dress. With an open back, long sleeves and side splits, this simple shape really lets the fabric do all of the talking.
This item is part of our most limited-edition collection because once the fabric is gone, it's gone for good.
